Farah Hanim Mohd Sharif is an Environmental Education Executive who joined PGC in April 2023. In her previous role, she conducted research on various environmental issues, collected and analyzed data, and assisted in developing solutions to mitigate environmental problems.
Currently, she is responsible for designing and implementing educational programs focused on environmental awareness and sustainability. She manages all aspects of school-based projects and programs, including promoting eco-friendly practices, evaluating progress, and empowering schools to showcase their green initiatives. Additionally, she plays a key role in planning, organizing, and executing environmental programs like the Youth Summit- SouthEast Asia 2024 and engages in spreading awareness through Eco Talks to help the community and schools adopt eco-friendly practices towards achieving SDGs goals.
Born in Parit Buntar, Perak, Farah pursued secondary education in Accounting at SMK Panglima Bukit Gantang and holds a Bachelor of Environmental Management from University Putra Malaysia. Passionate about community engagement, especially with children, she has been involved in community work since her university days. Farah believes in inspiring communities to embrace environmental sustainability through small, impactful actions and is dedicated to fostering a deep appreciation and understanding of environmental issues from an early age. Through her work, she aims to empower individuals, particularly children, to be proactive in protecting the environment and instill a sense of responsibility and care for the planet.
