Penang Green Kindy Incentive
Penang Green Kindy Incentive is an audit program for all preschools and licensed kindergartens in Penang. Top 15 registered preschools or kindergartens with the highest marks will be rewarded with incentive and a certificate.
Objectives
To foster the spirit of love for environment among kids.
To educate children on waste, water and energy conservation.

Assessment
Only applicants with the highest marks will be shortlisted. Audit will be carried out on the shortlisted applicants.
Application Procedure:
Complete the online questionnaire via registration below.
You will be notified via email if your preschool/kindergarten is selected. Selection is based on the highest marks.
An audit will be arranged by PGC with the selected preschool/ kindergarten.
Certified preschool/kindergartens will be announced in PGC Facebook page in October 2025.
Audit
Do prepare relevant supporting documents such as PowerPoint slides, video, photos and related documents based on the audit criteria.
During the audit, teacher can be the representatives to present their involvement and projects in this Penang Green Kindy program. However, the involvement of children in the online audit is highly welcomed.
You may also present your ongoing environmental program or future plans.
Prize & Timeline
Prize
The top 15 registered preschools or kindergartens with the highest marks will be rewarded with the incentives as below:
- Top 5: Incentives worth RM700 and a certificate.
- Next 10: Incentives worth RM300 and a certificate.
- First Time Participation: RM100 (10 early birds only)
Timeline
- Feb: Opening of online registration (25 Feb 2025)
- August: Audit (15 preschools/kindergartens with the highest marks will be selected)
- September: Winner announcement of certified kindergartens (via Facebook)
- February – March 2026: Awards Presentation Ceremony
