Penang Green Journalism Award
The Green Journalism Award recognises outstanding reports on Penang’s green, sustainability and environmental issues. These in-depth reports hold exceptional power to raise public awareness and trigger action on these issues.
Who should participate?
Journalists and photographers employed by any print media and online media organization operating in Malaysia or registered with Suruhanjaya Syarikat Malaysia(SSM)
Writers with entries published in any print media or online media (for Section A ONLY)
University / college students aged 18 and above that are still enrolled as student in their institutions (for Section C ONLY)
Categories
Section A: Features Writing
A thematic story centered on environmental issues, which may be a stand-alone piece or series.
Section B: Photojournalism
Section C: Young Journalism
