Renuka Radakrishnan, born in Perlis, joined PGC in 2015 as a Communication Executive and is now a Senior Officer. She focuses on Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Policy-making for Penang State, collaborating with Tenaga Nasional Berhad, Jabatan Kerja Raya, Persatuan Arkitek Malaysia, Institute of Engineers Malaysia, Malaysian Green Building Council, and other key organizations. With 5 years of experience in RE & EE, Renuka frequently provides talks on clean energy and green building. She leads the Penang Green Hotel survey, a study aimed at understanding and promoting green hotel establishments in Penang.
Renuka’s academic journey includes completing her secondary education at SMK Convent Light Street and Form 6 at St. Xavier’s Institution. She holds a Bachelor of Environmental Technology and a Master of Science from Universiti Sains Malaysia. Additionally, she is an HRDF Certified Trainer.
Renuka is passionate about nature and believes in “Sustainable and Joy-Filled Living.” She emphasizes the importance of cherishing and protecting Mother Earth, our shared home.
